Loreta Roževičiūtė – Elksnė

I am Loreta Roževičiūtė-Elksnė (born in 1980), founder and project author of the creative group Vėjo Rožė. I create autostereograms (images based on optical illusion).

A autostereogram is a two-dimensional view which hides a three-dimensional object which can be spotted when looking to the distance. Looking at the autostereograms makes a feeling like of a mystic space and that is why it arises a strong joy to many people.

Looking at the autostereogram also often helps to relax tired eyes and strengthens muscles of the eye as well. It also serves as a perfect way to reduce eye strain and fatigue experienced after working on the computer.

My work stands out internationally due to its large-scale formats and the fact that the autostereograms are drawn by hand. National and international museums have acquired some of my 3D artworks. I also collaborate with eye clinics to help people improve their vision through the use of autostereograms.
