The exhibition “The Little Prince – true things are not seen by the eyes” became a part of the events of Francophonie

On March 29, 2023, at 18:00 Kaunas cinema centre “Romuva”, Laisvės al. 54, Kaunas, one of the events of the month of Francophonie took place. The event featured a 3D autostereogram exhibition “The Little Prince – true things are not seen by the eyes”, and a screening of Canadian film “Bootlegger” (2021, directed by Caroline Monnet).

“Bootlegger”, a film by Canadian director Caroline Monnet with topical social themes, reveals the thematic and stylistic searches of Canadian cinema today. “Bootlegger”, which opened the 50th New Film Festival in 2021 (FNC – Festival du nouveau cinéma), received favourable reviews from critics and audiences.

The film and the exhibition of autostereograms of professional designer and creator of creative projects Loreta Roževičiūtė-Elksnė and her creative group “Vėjo Rožė” were presented to the audience of the “Romuva” cinema centre by the students of the “Foreign Languages and Cultures: Francophone Studies” bachelor’s program of VDU in Lithuanian and French languages.
