The Little Prince’s 3D stereogram exhibition has arrived in Prienai!

The 3D stereogram exhibition “The Little Prince – true things are not seen by the eyes” based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince” is taking place in the open air, next to the “Prienų kultūros ir laisvalaikio centras”.

We invite you to visit and enjoy together while revealing the secret of three-dimensional works.

The exhibition will be exhibited in 2021. March 11 – April 30 from 9:00 to 18:00. The exhibition was organized by the “Prienų kultūros ir laisvalaikio centras” in cooperation with the “Kauno kultūros centras”.

How much does your friendship cost?

“That man is the only one of them all whom I could have made my friend. But his planet is indeed too small.” (translated from the French by Katherine Woods). The quote is from the sixth work in the exhibition.

“When he lights his street lamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.” (translated from the French by Katherine Woods).

Traveling through different planets, the Little Prince finally finds a man, a lamplighter, who gives him the sympathy for the sincerity and the simplicity. The lamplighter is hardworking and responsible infinitely. The little man admires his work and wants to be friends with him. However, the lamplighter pouring the sweat days after days does not have the time even to breathe, so what to talk about the time for the friendship?

Where are we today? What feelings do these quotes evoke in the face of the pandemic? When the world puts such the brakes in the place… and separated us all.

With the exhibition traveling to the different cities, I discover a growing need to reveal the so deeply felt characters of the works. We love the Little Prince as a member of the family because the exhibition was created in one year and posed the technological challenges which we overcame. I saw his lovely look full of questions everywhere and lots of the strange and the strangest questions that touched my heart 🙂
